FOR THE RECORD: HERE'S WHAT WE WERE LISTENING TO IN 2015

Setting up for the first E.A.C. LOCAL music festival!

With just a handful of days left until the New Year we wanted to share with you some of our favorite music from 2015. This being our first year in business we spent A LOT of time out connecting with people and in almost every venue, we had music playing in the background. While our inspiration for E.A.C. stems from the ‘60’s & ‘70’s folk rock scene, we really are fans of all music. What’s better than blending a great new track into a playlist of all-time favorites?

At one point or another, all of the songs listed below found their way into our day-to-day operations, whether that was helping us through hours of design work, filling the E.A.C. tent with energy, or blowing the roof off our showroom at C5 Shipway.

While you won’t see Adele (amazing), Taylor Swift or Ryan Adams for that matter (which 1989 do you prefer?), you will find a few mainstream hits and some other more obscure gems that struck us as fresh and unique. Taken together, these songs contributed to the vibe that was the soundtrack of our year pushing Encore Apparel Co. forward as a newly launched business!

The E.A.C. TOP 15 SONGS for the year (in no particular order):

Fade Out Lines // The Avener

Heads // Coleman Hell

No No No // Beirut

The Wolf // Mumford & Sons

Ship to Wreck // Florence + The Machine

Coughing on the F Train // Bombadil

Fool for Love // Lord Huron

Dead Fox // Courtney Barnett

S.O.B. // Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats

Getting Ready to Get Down // Josh Ritter

Don’t Wanna Fight // Alabama Shakes

Pacing Like Prince // Ryan Montbleau Band

Coming Home // Leon Bridges

Here’s wishing you a Happy New Year and thanks again for all the love and support in 2015!

Life is Short. Play it Loud.

Casey & Mark
